The Nope Book Tag

I hate to sound negative but this book tag looks like fun. I got it from The Cozy Pages and you’re more than welcome to try it out.

NOPE. Genre: A genre you will never read.

Romance. Fine when paired with something better and kept discreetly to one side but as a book in its own right? Nope!

NOPE. Popular pairing: A “ship” you don’t support.

Neville Longbottom and Hannah Abbot. Why couldn’t he get together with Luna?

NOPE. Book format: Book formatting you hate and avoid buying until it comes out in a different edition

Hardback. They look lovely but I’m not made of money.

NOPE. Trope: A trope that makes you go NOPE.

Love triangles. Just please, no more!

NOPE. Cliche/pet peeve: A cliche or writing pet peeve that always makes you roll your eyes.

The memory spell. It’s such a narrative cop-out and lets the characters off scot free without taking any consequences. Urgh!

NOPE. Protagonist: A main character you dislike and drives you crazy.

Bella Swan. Need I say more?

NOPE. Villain: A scary villain/antagonist you would hate to cross and would make you run in the opposite direction.

The Steel Inquisitors from the Mistborn series. For the love of God, don’t do a Google Image search!
