The author struggles to keep up the momentum after that last book’s ending. The Omega resistance is picking itself up. But, the Alphas are making gains.
While change is happening quietly, I still can’t get around the pointless and circular conversations between Alphas and Omegas about Omega rights. It drags the story’s pace to a crawl and never achieves anything.
We’re introduced to some very interesting characters, which really improve what could be a slow middle book. We get another gripping ending, setting us up for the last book.
