This is another tag found on Kristin Kraves Books and the questions were a lot more challenging than I thought they would be. That meant this tag lingered in my drafts for much too long until I had actually read widely enough to answer these questions. Better late than never, eh?
Do you read more in the morning or at night?
Usually in the evening so, night, I guess. Though, I’ve stayed up later than I should have…but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t.
Are there any books that changed the way you thought about things?
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes by Caitlin Doughty. This actually made me think about my mortality in a positive way and look up local natural burial sites.
YA or not?
Are there characters that you honestly believe are real?
In a negative way? A lot of characters. One that springs to mind at the moment is Graham Coates from Anansi Boys, a manager addicted to cliches and personal gain and who thinks they’re a good deal smarter than they actually are. They don’t even need to be evil to be your worst nightmare.
Nobody touches my books or I don’t mind loaning my books out?
I don’t usually mind loaning out my books. I suppose it’s because I’ve been lucky in that all the people who have borrowed my books have given them back in a good state. I know that’s not the case for everyone.
Do you ever smell your books?
Not everyone loves books…is this a positive or negative?
Negative! There’s no such thing as not loving books, there’s just not loving the books forced upon you. If you don’t love books, that means you just haven’t found the right ones for you so keep searching!
Gosh, I have too many books! True or False?
False. I just have too few places to keep them and need to use my local library more.
Have you ever spilled or stained books before with something, if so how?
Note to self, never eat chicken katsu curry and read a physical book at the same time.
Toned or untoned? In other words, do you read and workout at the same time?
I tried listening to audiobooks during yoga once and it sort of worked but I don’t do it often.
I tag anyone who likes a challenging tag!
I hope to see you again very soon.
