The Quick Fire Fantasy Tag

I found this on Reading By Starlight and I’m always up for a fantasy fiction tag so I decided to give it a go.

1. Five Star Book

in an absent dream
The Wayward Children series is a wonderful original take on the portal fantasy and In An Absent Dream, a prologue story centring around a character from the first book, is my favourite so far.

2. Always Going To Recommend

bear and the nightingale

Yeah, you knew the Bear and the Nightingale would appear at some point. No, I will not stop going on about Winternight!

3. Own It But Haven’t Read It Yet

seafire

This has been on my TBR pile for a shameful amount of time but, thankfully, this fits one of my reading challenges so I have an incentive to read it soon.

4. Would Read Again

the final empire

If I ever had the time to read such a heavyweight all over again, I’d do it in a heartbeat!

5. In Another World

pyramids

What else but Discworld? Pyramids is my favourite so far with some excellent humour and a great mick-take on the Ancient Egyptians.

6. Back On Earth

good omens

…at the end of the Earth. Who would have thought Armageddon could be made so funny or handled so badly?

I tag:

And anyone who wants to make a quick declaration of their love of fantasy.

I hope to see you again very soon.
