What My Favourite Characters Would be Doing in Quarantine Book Tag!

Lockdown is trundling on but the good thing is that more tags are being created out of it. Including this one. A special thank you to The Orangutan Librarian for tagging me.

Now, I would put Aziraphale and Crowley from Good Omens on this list but Neil Gaiman, Michael Sheen and David Tennant have already answered that question and I can’t think of a better answer. So, if you haven’t already, check out the video at the link here.

Characters in Quarantine

Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series – Probably re-reading all her books and trying unsuccessfully to teach Ron how to use Zoom.

Nancy Whitman from the Wayward Children series – She would be absolutely delighted. The whole world is doing just what she loves – standing still.

Evelyn Hugo from The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – She’s already used to being a recluse but she would be pretty annoyed that she can’t go out for her favourite salads. If her favourite place doesn’t do take out, she’d be very displeased indeed.

Jane McKeene from Dread Nation – She’d be absolutely out of her mind with boredom. There’s only so much training one can do. She’d probably still want to sneak out of the house but, if there aren’t any shamblers about, there’s not much point.

Ophelia from The Mirror Visitor series – She could sneak out of the house via mirror but she probably wouldn’t for fear of getting caught. Like Hermione, she’d probably be reading non-stop, both books and objects.

Sam Vimes from the Discworld series – He’d be absolutely rushed off his feet, dealing with people breaking quarantine (whether or not he’s a copper in this world). At least, in the real world, he wouldn’t have to worry about the inevitable catastrophe that would occur if the Unseen University took it into their heads to magic up a cure.

Thursday Next from the Thursday Next series – She’s definitely be in a book. Just any book that didn’t have a lockdown.
