The Christmas Bookshelf Scavenger Hunt

I found this tag on Kristin Kraves Books and decided to do it while I can still kid myself that we’re still in the Christmas period. I had to cheat a bit and use my ‘Read’ list on Goodreads rather than my physical bookshelves because a) it’s easier and b) my bookshelves are so packed that it would take way too long to dig out the right ones.

Original video (I think) here:

A book set during Christmas

Does Hogswatch count? Well, for the sake of this tag, it does!

 Five cold words

Turns out I really like books with the word ‘winter’ in the title!

A red and green book cover

tea dragon society

Not exactly a festive book cover but it’s still as sweet as it looks!

A character with a festive name

letters from father christmas

You don’t get more festive than Father Christmas!

A festive object

night shift

Hey, it’s in the shape of a stocking! It counts!

A book with baking in it

beneath the sugar sky
How about a whole world made of baked treats?

A book cover with a wintery scene

early riser

I mean, everything but the centre is wintery so I say it counts.

A book cover with silver and gold

This is admittedly just gold and silver-ish but it’s the best I can do!

A book that was a gift

I got this for my last birthday but I still haven’t read it. I’ve heard really good things about it, though.

A title that describes how Christmas shopping feels

we are okay

I think I’m relatively organised when it comes to Christmas shopping. I’ve never been in a position where I’ve had to scour the shops, looking for one elusive present, or stand for hours in a queue. Christmas shopping is just okay for me.

Spell Santa Claus using book titles

I did my best not to cheat in this one at least so I didn’t disregard the word ‘the’ in the title for the sake of answering the prompt.
I tag anyone who wants to keep Christmas going until the end.

I hope to see you again very soon.
