I could definitely stand to be a better behaved reader so I’m diving into a book tag I found on Foxes and Fairytales on heavenly virtues.
This tag was created by Re-enchantment Of The World.
CHASTITY: Which author/book/series you wish you had never read?
I still can’t believe my younger-but-not-teenaged self thought the House of Night series was good. At least, she had the sense not to pay full price for it.
TEMPERANCE: Which book/series did you find so good, that you didn’t want to read it all at once, and you read it in doses just to make the pleasure last longer?
CHARITY: Which book/series/author do you tirelessly push to others, telling them about it or even giving away spare copies bought for that reason?
DILIGENCE: Which series/author you follow no matter what happens and how long you have to wait?
I will jump at any new Wayward Children book. Short, sweet novellas putting a great twist on the portal fantasy, they’re all brilliant!
PATIENCE: Is there an author/book/series you’ve read that improved with time the most, starting out unpromising, but ultimately proving rewarding?
Let’s be honest, The Colour of Magic probably isn’t at the top of anyone’s favourite Discworld novels list. It probably isn’t even in the top ten. The later Discworld books, however, are brilliant. It may take a long time to get through them all (believe me, I know) but they are definitely worth the effort.
Either Ead or Sabran would be my role models. Who wouldn’t want to look up to a badass spy or a kickass queen?
HUMILITY: Which book/series/author do you find most under-rated?
I barely hear anything about The Mirror Visitor series on the blogs I follow but I adore it. The world is astounding, the main character is fantastic and all the intrigues and plot twists will keep you hooked!
I tag anyone who wants to be a more virtuous reader!
I hope to see you again very soon.
