The “Count to 10 with me” Book Tag

I found this on Kristin Kraves Books and on a few others and thought it looked like fun.

This tag was originally created by Alyce @ The Bumbling Blogger.

First book in a series

bear and the nightingale

Probably the best out of a fantastic trilogy and one of my all time favourite fantasy books.

Two or more copies of the same book

good omens

I’ve got a standard copy, the scriptbook and the audiobook of the dramatisation. There will always be room in my shelves for another edition too.

Three colors on the cover

tiger in the well

All the Sally Lockhart books in this set have just three colours and are done in this cool style but I’m going to go with The Tiger In The Well since that’s the most recent one I’ve read.

Four or more perspectives

the city we became

This one has over six POVs: one for each of the boroughs, one for New York itself and several little ones that I can’t remember off the top of my head.

A five star read

deeplight 1

One of my most recent five star reads that had been on my TBR for ages but was well worth the wait.

Six or more short stories

This is the last anthology I’ve read and one I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a Halloween-y read.

A seven on the cover or the spine

seven husbands

Got to copy Kristin and go with The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It was either this or The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle and I like Evelyn Hugo better.

Eight letters in the title

Turns out I don’t own many books with short titles. The only one that really fits the bill is Elantris.

Book ends on a page ending with a nine

the deep dunmore

Another one that proved more difficult than I thought. This one clocks in at 329 pages and just looking at it has made me want to re-read the Ingo series again.

Ten books in a series

Can we put down a series that’s more than ten? Let’s go for over thirty more and say Discworld!

I tag anyone else who wants to do a reading count-up!

I hope to see you again very soon.
