If you’ve been keeping up with my Blogmas posts, none of these entries will come as a surprise. So, in no particular order, we have…

  • An Illusion of Thieves by Cate Glass – my favourite first book in a series and my favourite new fantasy series of the year.

  • Autism in Heels: The Untold Story of a Female Life on the Spectrum by Jennifer Cooke O’Toole – my favourite non-fiction book of the year!

  • Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo – my favourite sequel of the year and what a way to round off the duology!

  • The House in the Cerulean Sea by T. J. Klune – my second-favourite one-off of the year and what a lovely Gaiman-esque book!

  • The Midnight Library by Matt Haig – my favourite one-off book of the year!

  • Deeplight by Frances Hardinge – my third-favourite one-off and one that’s been patiently waiting for me to pick it up since Christmas 2019. It was certainly worth the wait!

  1. An Illusion of thieves sounds amazing, definitely checking it out!! I haven’t read any of these, but The House in the Cerulean Sea is on my TBR and I’m so excited for it! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!!
