2nd January 2022 – Books you want to read this year

  • The King of Crows by Libba Bray – can’t wait to see what happens to the Diviners.

  • The Forever Sea by Joshua Phillip Johnson – it’s been on my TBR for ages and it fits my New Years Resolution Reading Challenge so it’s going to get read this year.

  • Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman – one of the few Gaiman books I haven’t yet read and one I’m going to read for the Booklist Queen reading challenge.

  • Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor – going to have to find out what happened next sooner or later, even if I have a feeling I’m in for more heartache.

9th January 2021 – Books you can’t wait for

  • Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan – I love the cover and I’ve heard good things about the story.

  • The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh – another one with a great cover and I love a good ocean fantasy.

  • A Mirror Mended by Alix E. Harrow – Harrow is one of my auto-buy authors and I liked A Spindle Splintered

  • A Magic Steeped in Poison by Judi I. Lin – I love the idea of magic around tea.

  • So This Is Ever After by F. T. Lukens – this promises a good twist on the ‘happily-ever-after’.

  • Improbable Magic for Cynical Witches by Kate Scelsa – I like the sound of a story surrounding tarot cards.
