Your Answer Can’t Be Books Tag

Time to vary things up a bit with a tag that is explicitly not about books at all that I found on CJR The Brit.

What is something that you own way too many of, other than books?

Eeveelution plushies…

I have no good explanation why.

What is something that you do for fun that’s not reading a book?

ni no kuni

If I just want to have uncomplicated fun without feeling like I’m aiming to complete a challenge, I play video games. I’m currently stuck on the original Ni No Kuni, trying to kid myself into thinking I can get the platinum trophy ( the grind for the Familiarologist trophy is driving me nuts!).

What is something special or important on your nightstand, that’s not a book?

cross stitch penguin

My current cross stitch project. I’m currently in the middle of the year’s cross stitch cards (birthdays, Christmas, etc) and hoping I don’t need to buy any more threads.

What’s something that you buy at a bookstore other than books?

Usually, stationery. I get through an incredible amount of pens and always find myself needing to stock up.

What’s a fun gift that you’ve received that wasn’t a book or a gift card for books?

great british literature map

I originally asked for this to help me with my UK’s Biggest Cities Reading Challenge but I didn’t need it in the end. Still fun to peruse occasionally, though.

What’s a YouTube channel you watch not related to books?

Half Asleep Chris. His channel is so wholesome, full of LEGO, cat videos and fun combinations of both!

I tag anyone who wants to show their non-bookish interests!

I hope to see you again very soon.
