5 Books You Love

These are the books I’m always happy to come back to given the chance. I’ve re-read three out of five of them and enjoyed them just as much the second time as the first. I know I’ll enjoy the other two if I re-read them as well.

4 Autobuy Authors

Like Becky, I love Alix E. Harrow and Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s works. Both have lovely writing styles and tell marvellous stories. I’m always up for buying anything by Becky Chambers too as I know I’ll get something sweet and thought-provoking. My ultimate auto-buy author, however, is Neil Gaiman. I’m in the process of going through his back catalogue and every book has been enjoyable in its own way.

3 Fave Genres

Fantasy is my ultimate favourite with a particular love of witch fantasy. At a close second is science fiction so long as it isn’t too technical and third goes to history. Particularly, weird and gruesome parts of history.

2 Places You Read

I have a special reading chair in the corner of my room. That’s my usual reading spot at home unless the cat has stolen it! Outside the home, my local independent book shop has a quiet little cafe with music at such a volume that I can listen to my own music without interruption.

1 Book You Promise To Read Soon

It’s been on my TBR for ages and I’ve had a physical copy on my shelves for months. I will read this before the end of the year, I promise!
