This is another one from Line @ First Line Reader.

Recently Watched: The last book you finished reading
At the time of writing, Through the Woods by Emily Carroll. A deliciously creepy graphic novel that I can see myself coming back to on Halloween.
Top Picks: A book/books that have been recommended to you based on a book you have previously read
According to Goodreads, Sheets by Brenna Thummler would be a good follow up to Through the Woods. I suppose both have spooky happenings so I can kind of see it.
Recently Added: The last book you bought
I’m slowly but surely getting through Oseman’s back catalogue and this is one of the few Oseman novels I haven’t yet read.
Popular on Netflix: Books that everyone knows about (2 you’ve read and 2 you haven’t or have no interest in reading)
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo certainly get a lot of attention and for good reason. The former’s a gripping murder mystery with a twist and the latter is a brilliant story with a magnificent main character. Both are favourites of mine.
Feel free to tell me what an idiot I am for avoiding these books but It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover and Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus just don’t appeal to me at all. They’re not the right genre for me and they just seem overhyped.
Comedies: A funny book
You can’t go wrong with a Discworld novel and this is an excellent adaption of one of the best!
Drama: A character who is a drama queen/king
The minute I read ‘drama’, I thought ‘Henry Montague from A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue’. How can you not with how easily he attracts trouble?
Animated: A book with cartoons on the cover
The Tea Dragon Society is a graphic novel and I’m not sure if the cover counts as a cartoon but this looks like a panel within the novel so I say it counts.
Watch Again: A book/book series you want to reread
The Winternight trilogy, in full. I want to see if it’s as good as I remember.
Documentaries: A non-fiction book you’d recommend to everyone
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes is certainly a book I’d recommend to everyone. It answers all the questions you were too nervous to ask about cremation and pushes you to look at your own mortality without fear.
Action and Adventure: An action packed book
If only it didn’t have such a cliche romance subplot. This would have been the perfect action book otherwise.
New Releases: A book that just came out or will be coming out soon that you can’t wait to read
I loved The Forever Sea so I’m really looking forward to The Endless Song
I tag anyone else whose TBR is as out of control as their to-watch list!
I hope to see you again very soon.
